The RIUM-Ruler System double-sided clamping ruler is a modular, machine-adaptable workholding platform designed for wire EDM operations. Built for versatility and stability, it features customizable lengths, precision accessories, and a robust design that accommodates both small precision parts and large, heavy workpieces.

✅ Machine-Specific Customizable Lengths
Double-sided rulers are available in various lengths (-XXX) to match different wire EDM machines. The cross-section of each ruler is precisely matched to its length to ensure optimal rigidity and stability, even at extended spans. Custom lengths up to 1,600 mm are available on request.
✅ Modular Accessories for Flexible Positioning
The system supports a full range of optional accessories to adapt to diverse workholding needs:
- Eccentric Stops: Moveable along the ruler in 20-mm steps, enabling precise and repeatable workpiece positioning.
- Zero-Line Tabs: Adjustable in 40-mm steps along the ruler, providing optimal alignment with the machine’s zero line.
- 5-mm Positioning Tabs: Elevate workpieces 5 mm above the machine zero line, ensuring critical clearance between the wire and the ruler during cutting operations.
- Quick-Fasteners: Simplify the installation and removal of rulers, significantly reducing setup time.
✅ High-Load Capacity Zero-Line Support Tabs
Three variants of 5 mm zero-line support tabs are available (RIUM-239.25, RIUM-239.22, and 3R-239.26), each with a recommended maximum workpiece weight of 50 kg per tab. They are supplied in sets of two for balanced support.
